Syndicate Assembly

On Monday we had a syndicate assembly and room 10 was hosting it. When we got inside we had to sit down and room 10 had to setup the song. It was called Aoeteroa by: Stan Walker. Next the teachers had to hand out the certificates to the hard working students, then we sang Azonto by: Fuze ODG After the song was finished we had to watch the techers play heads up. There were teachers that were playing there names are Mrs Golder, Mrs Riley, Mrs Mitchell and lastly Miss Misela and on the other side the there were four students, two from our class and 1 from each other class. The teachers won becuase of their acting skills were incredible.

My Trip To Tauranga

I wasn't here at school on Monday because I was at Tauranga spending time with my nan and my papa.

I thought I was going to attend school, but it was raining so my mum decided not to send me to school. The next day it was sunny so then when we had lunch we went for a long run around the mountain. When we got back from the mountain we had to go home before its dark thats what my Mum said.
 

Fitness

In the morning Room 12 and the other classes in our syndicate were doing fitness. We were running around the senior block for 10 minutes If we slowed down we had to move to the left side so the fast joggers could overtake the slow walkers on the right. We were all running hard so we could warm up for our learning.

Road Safety

My class has been working on road safety for 2-3 weeks. We are learning how to be safe and make sure that our school knows how to be safe around roads, railways and also inside cars.

When your'e in the car make sure that you always have your seat belt on and if your parents are on their phone, tell them to put their phone aside and focus on the road. Also remind them to drive at the speed limit.

Hip Hop

On Tuesday the 15th of May, Room 12 went to a hip hop class. When we lined up outside the Multipurpose Room, I saw another class dancing. I thought it was going to be fun.

Once we started dancing I thought it was quite exciting because I got to do some cool moves. There was one move that was from Fortnite. The name of the "expressing" emote is hype but in reality it is  called shoot. I don't know how to do it but 6 of my close friends do. Their names are Kain, Saluselo,Tyra, Liza, Sosiua, and Leaaepeni. I think they're good dancers.

Commowealth Games ( Kiwis vs Malaysia)

The New Zealand Kiwi team started their Commonwealth Games competition. They were up against a very well-known team called, Malaysia.  The Kiwis were having a tremendous  game. There was an awesome player in their team named, Micaela Cocks and she had won 15 points for her own team. I felt good because she scored a lot of three pointers.

Then there was also another player that was very supreme and in her game. Her name was Josephine Stockill.  The Kiwis had won by an astounding 86 points, and Malaysia sadly was  defeated leaving them with a total of 44 points.

Being Cybersmart

I have been doing things to make sure I am being Cybersmart.

Back school

My first day at school was great. There were two new students that appeared in our school, Robin and Storm. I got two teachers Mrs Golder and Mr Ried. They are teachers that really want the students to work hard. They are good and helpful teachers they sometimes make us laugh. My favourite topic is Maths because we can  do aaamaths, addition,  subtraction and multiplication.

Tech

Today we had to go to Tamaki College for tech with Mr Penieda and we did graphics . We had fun drawing and we drew boxes.

There was another school there and they were called Saint Pius X School.

We had to write our last name and  our first name in graffiti. Me and Tyron were saying that Mr Penida instruted us to make the page bigger so our last name would fit.

Room 10's Syndicate Assembly

After lunch on Monday we went to the multipurpose room to see what Room 10 has done for Room 12 and 9.
When we went to the multipurpose room we had to sing Better When I'm Dancing by Megen Trainer and then the teachers had to give the hard working kids certificates. Then we had to do the dance battle. The people chosen from our class was Peni and Pupuke. From Room 10 it was Alamone and Kymani and there were two other people from Room 9. Room 9 and 10 were up against each other first and who ever won that had to vs room 12.

Christmas

When I Stayed At School

When I stayed at school and the others went to the film festival there was only three other kids that stayed with me. Mrss Vickers told us to go outside for a little play and then we went inside. I had to read the little kids a story. Then Miss Vickers told us to come back then I had to help Mathew with the toys then me and Jacob had to write how much words we knew. I had ten minutes to write and I had 194. But some of my writing words were wrong.

When I Got my Puppies

When I was in Dunedin I got three puppies from my uncle. I only got to have them for four months.

Then when we heard our uncle was outside he said that I could have two. My mate wanted puppies too so we only got to keep one. So when we got to keep him my mum named him Brownie. When his brothers left he was scared because when he was with his brothers they where play fighting and cuddling together. 

When they went to sleep they would go to sleep together. I checked on them to make sure they weren't hungry, thirsty or cold. The hard part was when they went to the toilet in there room. I put a news paper every where so they didn't go to the toilet on the floor. If they did my mum would tell them to sleep outside in the kennel. They hated sleeping out in the kennel because when they slept out in the kennel my mum would say that I'm wasn't allowed to put a blanket on them. But when my mum and dad went to sleep in the middle of the night I would sneak out and put the blanket on them. When they were very cold they would shiver then start wining and I hated wining. I could hear them wining and would start to get mad so that's why I put a blanket on them.

After a couple of months I was going to stay over my nans house for a couple of days. My brother and I arrived and we started playing on the PS3. The game we were playing was called Call of Duty, it's a very fun game. 

We left on Friday and I was excited to see my other puppy because my uncle said that he was going to go get me a new puppy and he was yellowish and black. The one that I liked was the black and yellowish one because he was easy to take care of. My other puppy was hard to take care of. When I got home I started to play with them because I really liked playing with them. I got to teach them how to sit, roll over and all other kinds of things. The most fun part was when we were running around and they were trying to get me. The hard part was when I was running away from them and trying to hide. My friends would come over my house we would play hide and seek with the dogs too. We would put them in the house and they would play around so the person that was hiding would hide away from the dog so that made the dogs the seekers. We would let them out and try to find the person that was hiding. We would not tell the dogs because we timed them. 

After 5 minutes we would tell them where they were. These were some of the fun things I did when I got my puppies.
